Schezwan noodles recipe

🍜The most popular Indo Chinese recipe is schezwan noodles which is spicy with amazing garlic flavor. The taste was fabulous and quantity of schezwan sauce can be adjusted according to your taste.

Any kind of veggies can be added to the noodles which are stir fried and sauteed with schezwan sauce. This is the best tasty noodles we had so far. My husband loved it and now it will be one of our regular dish for a lunch😉. If schezwan sauce is well prepared in advance this noodles will be less time consuming. First time I tried schezwan sauce and schezwan noodles at home, both are super hit with incredibly tasty😋.

 The schezwan sauce can be stored in refrigerator for 3 weeks so schezwan noodles can be prepared instantly.The spicy of noodles can be adjusted based on quantity of schezwan sauce. Ingredients
  • 2 cup noodles (boiled)
  • 1/4 cup spring onions (chopped + 2 tsp to garnish)
  • 1/2 cup veggies (beans, carrot, capscicum) (thin sliced)
  • 1/2 cup broccoli
  • 1/2 cup mushroom (sliced)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic (chopped)
  • 3 tsp schezwan sauce
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp olive oil
Instructions
  1. Boil water along with salt and oil. Once the water comes to boil add noodles and boil for 10-15 min till it becomes little soft. (It may vary as per the box instructions)

  2. Drain the water from the noodles and wash the noodles in cold water (to remove starch) and mix 1 tsp of oil in noodles and keep aside.

  3. Heat oil in a pan add garlic saute for few seconds and add chopped spring onion, saute for a minute.

  4. Now add sliced capsicum, carrot, beans, broccoli mix well and saute for 3-4 min till it becomes tender.

  5. Add mushroom and saute for couple of minutes.

  6. Add schezwan sauce mix well and saute for one min.

  7. Then add vinegar mix well.

  8. Finally add black pepper powder, sugar, salt then saute for a minute.

  9. Now add noodles mix well with veggies and garnish with spring onions.

  10. Tasty and flavorful schezwan noodles is ready to serve.

 Preparation of Schezwan noodles – step by step procedure

  • Chop all the veggies and keep aside.

 Note:

  • Adjust the quantity of schezwan sauce according to your taste.
  • Any kind of veggies can be added to the noodles.
  • When you add mushroom saute veggies in high flame for few seconds till water get evaporates.(mushroom releases water)
  • Adding black pepper to the noodles is optional.
