Baked Paneer Tikka Recipe

Paneer tikka is an Indian dish made from chunks of paneer and other veggies marinated with spices and grilled in oven or on stove top. Crispy out side and soft inside gives the incredibly tasty snack😋.

These marinated Paneer along with capsicum, onion are arranged on a stick and grilled till the edges turned to golden brown color.

This is the best snack when you are carving for appetizer😉.These veggie stick are served hot, seasoned with chat masala and lemon juice. This is the best Paneer snack I had till now. Any dish prepared with Paneer will be amazing and many different variety of curries can be prepared with Paneer. This Paneer tikka can be served with mint chutney or any salad. Any kind of veggies can be added to the this recipe and kids will go crazy for this dish and I promise there will not be any leftovers. While serving for kids add less quantity of chilli powder. Delicious and tasty paneer takka prepared in oven served with mint chutney or salad

Ingredients
  • 10-12 paneer chunks
  • 1 cup color capsicum (big pieces)
  • 1 onion small (big pieces)
  • 1 cup hung curd / thick curd
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp corn flour
  • 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp chat masala
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 4 long sticks
  • salt to taste
  • 2-3 tsp oil
Instructions
  1. Chop veggies, paneer in to big chunks and keep aside.

  2. Add 1 cup of hung curd / thick curd in to a bowl add red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, salt,garam masala, chat masala mix well.

  3. Now add corn flour and mix the curd well.

  4. Then add paneer veggie pieces mix well till it gets coated and marinated for 1-2 hours.

  5. Soak the long sticks in water for 10 min. (it makes sticks strong)

  6. Pre heat oven at 400 F/ 204 C.

  7. Arrange veggies and paneer in to the stick and place on the greased aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes or till the edges turns to nice golden brown color.

  8. For every 5-8 minutes turn over the paneer tikka stick by greasing with oil.

  9. Serve hot paneer tikka with seasoning chat masala and lemon juice.

Preparation of Paneer tikka recipe-step by step procedure

Note:

  • Paneer and veggies should be in large pieces otherwise it may crack.
  • Adjust the quantity of red chilli powder accordingly.
  • Paneer tikka can be prepared by baking in oven or on stove top.
  • Sticks should be soaked in water for for 10 min so that it will becomes strong and doesn’t break.
